Nico Brennan is a dynamically gifted singer who has been part of Canada’s professional music scene for over twenty years. As the former lead-singer for Calgary’s critically acclaimed "Dino Martini's", Nico has delighted audiences across Canada, the United States, and Europe. She has performed in such music festivals as the Montreal Jazz Festival and South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, and she has entertained audiences that have included the likes of Tom Hanks and former President Bill Clinton. In June 2019, Nico was featured in a live taping of Stampede City Sessions to celebrate the Dino Martini’s 25th Anniversary; it was aired on PBS & KSPS in November 2019.
Since her departure from the Dino Martinis, Nico has emerged as a ukulele-playing singer-songwriter. Her song-writing style infuses a blend of folk, rock, pop, calypso, and Latin sensibilities with thoughtful lyrics and uplifting messages. She is now the lead singer-songwriter for B4Peace, the host of Cornerstone Music Cafe's "Sunday School Open Mic", and a harmonious partner in Nico & Jeff. Her first EP, "The Dream Factory" was released to a sold out crowd in March 2019.
